The Dallas Cowboys training camp opened today, and their stars put on a show for the fans who came out to Oxnard, California.  Their stars weren't the only ones impressing at camp today though.  Some of the young skill position players also performed well. Deontay Greenberg, rookie from Houston, looked very fluid and caught everything that was thrown at him.  Receivers at his size 6-2 200 pounds don't walk through the door everyday, especially ones that can run precise routes similar to the smaller quicker receivers.  Second year WR Devin Street was also one of the younger players who impressed today.  He has bulked up during the offseason, but kept his lean lengthy body.  As I watched him running routes I could swear I was watching a Gazelle running and cutting all over the field.  His releases off the ball in the individual less coverage drills looked explosive also.  The one time he did stumble on a 12 yard comeback route as he was falling to the grass Weeded fired the ball to Street, and he made the catch while falling.  The crowed let Street know that he made a good play and cheered as he jogged back to the huddle.  The offense overall today looked crisp with RB Joseph Randal taking the majority of the snaps with the first team offense.  It will be a fun training camp to watch as the running back rotation begins to unfold. Day one is over, only 29 days of training camp practices left.
