The Dallas Cowboys training camp opened today, and their stars put on a show for the fans who came out to Oxnard, California.  Their stars weren't the only ones impressing at camp today though.  Some of the young skill position players also performed well. Deontay Greenberg, rookie from Houston, looked very fluid and caught everything that was thrown at him.  Receivers at his size 6-2 200 pounds don't walk through the door everyday, especially ones that can run precise routes similar to the smaller quicker receivers.  Second year WR Devin Street was also one of the younger players who impressed today.  He has bulked up during the offseason, but kept his lean lengthy body.  As I watched him running routes I could swear I was watching a Gazelle running and cutting all over the field.  His releases off the ball in the individual less coverage drills looked explosive also.  The one time he did stumble on a 12 yard comeback route as he was falling to the grass Weeded fired the ball to Street, and he made the catch while falling.  The crowed let Street know that he made a good play and cheered as he jogged back to the huddle.  The offense overall today looked crisp with RB Joseph Randal taking the majority of the snaps with the first team offense.  It will be a fun training camp to watch as the running back rotation begins to unfold. Day one is over, only 29 days of training camp practices left.

Mt. San Antonio has a beautiful hidden Wildlife Sanctuary, and over the years it has been put to the test in order to survive.  Luckily the Director of the sanctuary, and cancer survivor, Craig Petersen has stood strong in adversity, and kept the sanctuary up and running since 1980. The sanctuary has survived the road extension on Grand Avenue and a chlorine spill that killed an entire ecosystem. Through all he hardships the sanctuary still contains beautiful scenery, and just like it's director it is here to inform students with an out of the box approach.  Clink the link to watch, thanks.

Minimum wage increase coming 2020

https://storify.com/rdeanda93/minimum-wage-rises-and-inflation-soars#publicize

Check out storify.com it's an easy website to utilize for any journalistic or news updates.  All you do is drag and drop and insert a slight description of the video, article or tweet.  This week we used storify.com to create a collage of news and articles regarding the preliminary approval of the minimum wage increase to $15 by 2020.  The increase could help our Los Angeles workers live  more comfortable lives, but it could also soar our inflation rates through the roof.  Storify.com made it very simple to present both sides of the argument, and made it fun as well.

Walking through Mt. SAC's campus you might see some of these golf carts strolling around transporting teachers or other faculty.
Walking or driving around campus isn't the only way to get around, you will see students riding bikes, long boards and skate boards all around.
Measure RR has given Mt. SAC the ability to expand and renovate the already beautiful campus and we are also adding a new parking structure with Measure RR funding.
If you take a stroll through the East side of campus you will see construction going on throughout the entire campus.
One of Mt. SAC's many state championships trophies.
If you'd like to see proof of Mt. SAC's sports dominance take a walk to the WIN programs hallways and view the championships.
At the far corner of Mt. SAC, you can take a few swings a some golf balls, and work on your putting game.
By the end of your tour through Mt. SAC take a peaceful walk through the shady and beautiful  Wildlife Sanctuary right across the street from campus.

My top Wide Recievers entering the NFL draft in 2015.

This app easel.ly was really cool, and simple to use to put together this graphic showing these players. You can use default templates or create your own, depends on how imaginative you're feeling that day I guess.

Our take at WGB about the NBA playoffs, along with predictions and our thoughts in who should win NBA MVP.  My first time working with these guys, but they were knowledgable on the NBA, and made some pretty bold predictions.
